Light & Easy is a performance about time, death and loss. It’s a piece where you live in the moment, and its powerful world of sound and movement is created by Oblivia’s Timo Fredriksson, Anna-Maija Terävä and Annika Tudeer.
Light & Easy is a homage to Oblivia’s late founding member Anna Krzystek, whose sudden death in a traffic accident in 2017 shocked the entire group. The performance deals with this grief, and is a step toward a new time without Anna’s presence.
Light & Easy is part of a broader series of performances that deal with the mechanisms and consequences of rejection. The next work in the series, Verdrängen, Verdrängen, Verdrängen, premieres in February 2020.
Performing arts group Oblivia was founded in 2000, and its collectively realised works have their own recognisable style that combines conceptuality, minimalism and comedy.
