Join us as a volunteer at Hangö Teaterträff 2026!
The annual theatre festival, Hangö Teaterträff, takes place in the summery city of Hanko from June 5 to 7! The festival week is divided into different phases: the work starts on Tuesday 2 June with construction and runs until Sunday 7 June, when the festival comes to and end and is wrapped up. In order to realize this enormous work, the help of volunteers is absolutely crucial. As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to take part in building up the festival, meeting new people, experiencing contemporary theatre and performing arts and, above all, making and creating together as a community!
Hangö Teaterträff would not be a festival without its volunteers. We are looking for people who are interested in working with stage and rigging, ticket sales, customer service and much, much more!
The festival offers its volunteers the following:
- Two meals per day
- Travel to and from Hanko (if needed)
- Accommodation in Hanko (for those who do not have their own)
- The opportunity to experience the festival program
Please fill in the application form by Wednesday, May 6. The festival has a limited number of volunteer spots to offer. We will notify you the following week whether you are offered a spot or not.
Hangö Teaterträff can only accept volunteers who are 18 years of age or older.
