Hangö Teaterträff will be held for the 33rd time on 6–8 June 2025! The usually four-day festival will now be three days due to financial reasons, but from Friday to Sunday we will offer premieres, guest performances, installations, seminars and other fun events. The full programme will be published in mid-April. See you in Hanko!
In conjunction with the festival’s new artistic directors, we also have a brand new visual identity created by graphic designer Otto Donner.
“We want to create a festival that is both playful and inspiring, but at the same time dares to be brave and take centre stage. In line with this, Otto has created a new visual identity and a kind of mascot for the festival. A creature that takes on the role of a curious spectator with hungry eyes, a mysterious entity that merges and becomes part of the cityscape, but also a sometimes unpredictable, strange and even challenging monster that cannot necessarily be tamed. Just like art, a fuzzy friend that constantly changes shape and slips out of our grasp,” artistic directors Emelie Zilliacus and Martin Paul write.
