lecture

Lectures on theatre research return to Hangö Teaterträff, this time led by lecturer, researcher and dramaturg Synne K. Behrndt!

The lecture is based on performance analysis, with a particular focus on how to approach different types of works and what these “demand” of us as spectators. The lecture also illustrate how interdisciplinary performance throughout history has continuously (re)negotiated space, time, audience/spectators/participants, narrative, representation and context.

The lecture is part of the course Teater och performance inom ett samtida tvärkonstnärligt fält, organised by LUST in collaboration with the University of Helsinki’s open university. The course combines performance visits at Hangö Teaterträff with critical discussions and contextualising lectures.

The lectures are open to all and require no registration in advance. Information on how to enrol in the course in full is available on the course page (in Swedish). The second lecture of the course takes place on Saturday 6 June at 10 am.
