Do you have something you would like to confess, without consequences? Have you ever wanted to share a secret without revealing yourself? And would you like to hear what others have wanted to confess?
Confessions is a performance that combines personal intimacy with total anonymity in a private and collective ritualistic happening that takes place in two parts:
Part I (in Helsinki: 14 & 15 May & in Hanko: 6 June): a private session
Part II (in Hanko: 7 June): a gathering & a video and audio artwork
Buy your ticket to Part II via Tiketti, and then book your private session for Part I (one session is approx. 20 min) via this link. Once you’ve booked your private session, you’ll get more information per email.
In Part I, you are invited to participate in a private one-on-one session where you can confess something or share a secret, whatever you want. The confession is recorded but you remain totally anonymous; your voice and appearance are altered by various digital filters. In Part II, participants are able to witness and experience these anonymised confessions in a video and audio artwork created by the working group.
If you have questions about participating or anything else to do with the performance, contact .
